If you own a solar system, REGrid verifies your monthly production and pays you based on the clean energy you generate. There’s no new equipment, no changes to your net-metering setup, and no extra work required.

No. REGrid works with standard solar installations across New Brunswick. 

Not at all. REGrid is completely separate from net-metering. Your relationship with NB Power stays the same—you simply earn additional income on top of your existing setup.

Yes. REGrid supports residential and commercial solar producers of all sizes.

REGrid is currently preparing for launch across New Brunswick in 2026. You can reserve your spot today to join the program as soon as it opens.

Include your name, your location in New Brunswick, and whether your system is residential or commercial. We’ll contact you as soon as enrolment opens.

Please share your company name, service area, and approximate number of installations per year. We’ll follow up to discuss partnership opportunities.

The system will be automated when live but for now, businesses interested in purchasing REGrid clean-energy claims to support sustainability or ESG goals can email renewable@regrid.ca.

REGrid is being developed for solar producers and businesses across Atlantic Canada. The program will roll out region by region beginning in New Brunswick, with expansion planned next for Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
